Increasing Access. Enabling Completion. Preparing For Success.
The Endowment is focused on helping underrepresented students and preparing them for a productive future. The JMBE mission and how we will work to achieve success was determined after much thought and consideration. We are confident in the direction we are heading, and are seeking partnerships with other organizations that share our passions, in order to learn together and accomplish these goals that will benefit communities across the state.
At this time, the Endowment’s grant process is by invitation only. If invited, qualifying organizations will be asked to complete an online Letter of Inquiry, outlining a proposal that aligns with one of our three strategies. After review, organizations may be asked to complete an online application.
If invited to apply, opportunities and partnerships will be evaluated based on alignment with JMBE strategy, potential organization and/or community impact, fiscal and programmatic sustainability, and organizational strength.
Partnership and Reporting
If awarded a grant, JMBE will partner closely with the organization to support the work funded. It is our belief that staying connected with grantees allows us to learn and grow as an Endowment, and we value open conversations about what’s working and what’s not. Together we can evolve and improve, increasing both internal and external impact.
Funded organizations will be asked to complete an annual Grantee Report which will measure the expected outcomes against the actual results, and share with the Endowment lessons learned, best practices, and issue insights.
Organizations may contact the Endowment for more information via the Stay Connected page of the website.
